Tech application process

Here you will find all vacant positions at 8select Software GmbH. Have you already found a job that suits you? - Very good, then click the "Apply Now" button in the respective job description. With this click you will be forwarded to our standardized application form. The application process is uncomplicated and takes little time.

You did not find what you were looking for in our current job advertisements? Then we look forward to receiving your unsolicited application.

After you have successfully completed all the fields, uploaded your CV and cover letter and agreed to the data protection declaration, you will receive confirmation of receipt by e-mail.

And from here on we take over!

Your application will be reviewed in two steps. First, your application is reviewed by the HR team and checked for completeness. We will then forward your application to the respective team leader of the department. If the department is convinced of your qualifications and knowledge, the first exchange takes place.

In order to arrange an uncomplicated first acquaintance in advance, we will first make use of a short telephone call or Skype interview. This is scheduled for about 30 minutes and is intended to clarify the expectations of both sides. After a few days, you should receive feedback from us on how the application process will proceed.

Have you received an invitation to an interview? - Congratulations, the first hurdle has already been cleared. The interview is divided into several stages. Usually there is an initial interview between you, one of our managing directors and another colleague from the team. Our Head of Technology then takes over with a colleague from the Dev team. After a short acquaintance we get deeper into the subject in course of a technical interview. Afterwards a Session Pair Programming follows. No need to worry about breaks in between. Usually there is also a lunch together in the "Speicherbar".

We are aware that you are not only introducing yourself to us, but that we also want to show you our best side. Therefore, please give us feedback if you notice something negative on the day of the interview or if certain information is missing.

After the interview, we will consult internally as soon as possible so that we can usually give you feedback on your application soon. If the application process unexpectedly prolongs, you will receive an intermediate feedback from us to keep you informed about the current status of your application.

It's a match? - Great, then only formalities are left. First you will receive a draft of your employment contract and our standardized personnel questionnaire by e-mail. If you agree to the employment contract, we will send you two copies by post or you sign directly on your first day at our office. On your first working day, the team leader and your 8select Buddy will be waiting for you so that you can get started right from the start - Welcome to the team!

Show us who you are, what motivates you and how you can optimally support the respective team. At the same time we take the opportunity and introduce you to 8select as a potential employer.

In most cases, a small rehearsal will take place after the interview or on a newly agreed date. You should plan about two hours for this. The aim of the rehearsal is to get a realistic picture of the position and to get in touch with the team. We want you to leave this appointment and be able to decide for yourself whether the job corresponds to what you imagine or not.
